Event Horizon Telescope founding mbmers Feryal Özel and Dimitrios Psaltis are working with an international slate of researchers to leverage machine learning for more accurate weather forecasts near EHT’s 11 radio telescopes around the world.

Physicists from Georgia Tech and around the country shared their AI and ML research successes, and heard presentations from NSF and NASA officials on the funding landscape for proposals that include the technologies.
